Election is the Ground of Revolution, National Power Building is UML’s Goal: Kashinath Adhikari

CPN-UML leader Kashinath Adhikari has said that UML is moving ahead with the goal of making the Mission 2084 election a foundation of national revolution.

Speaking as the chief guest at the second secretariat meeting of Returnee Federation Nepal, Adhikari stressed that UML is the “party of the best ideology” and called for stronger organizational building.

Similarly, Standing Committee member and Coordinator of the Organizational Mechanism, Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal, urged returnees to focus their decisions on policies and agendas, as the party’s statute convention is approaching.

Central Committee member and Federation In-charge Krishna Bahadur KC emphasized the need for “entrepreneurship-driven politics,” stating that the mission cannot be fulfilled without mobilizing organizations at the grassroots level. He also directed that economic and social programs, including the Nawayug Udyamshala (New Era Enterprise), should be expanded at the provincial level.

The meeting decided to submit suggestions for the upcoming statute convention, implement past organizational decisions, and prepare provincial-level programs in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces.

The Returnee Federation has already established the Nawayug Investment Company worth Rs. 25 billion through collective investment of returnees’ capital, and launched the Central Udyamshala in Kathmandu. Plans are now underway to expand such initiatives at the provincial level as well.

Chaired by Federation President Binod Prasad Bhattarai, the meeting highlighted effective implementation of upcoming action plans, according to General Secretary Khem Karki.
