Ravi Kiran Hamal Begins Election Campaign in Surkhet-1

Surkhet. Ravi Kiran Hamal, a central member of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) and the candidate for the House of Representatives from Surkhet Constituency No. 1, has launched his election campaign.

Hamal officially began his campaign from Birendranagar Municipality Ward No. 15, which falls under Surkhet-1. This time, he has moved forward with the campaign by prioritizing voter meetings and public dialogue even before the registration of nominations.

Party leaders stated that since the Rastriya Prajatantra Party has already officially designated Hamal as the candidate for Surkhet-1, it has become easier for him to reach out to voters directly.

During the campaign, Hamal stated that he views the election not merely as a means to gain power, but as a platform for public dialogue and ideological debate. 

He clarified that he has entered the field with the objective of institutionalizing the sacrifices made by the new generation on Bhadra 23 and 24, and to bring the people together regarding its historical importance and future direction.

According to political analysts, Hamal intensifying his campaign at a time when the outgoing member of the House of Representatives, Purna Bahadur Khadka, is in a weak position within his own party, signals that the electoral competition in Surkhet-1 will become more interesting.

Hamal's campaign is expected to further strengthen the discourse on youth participation, the agenda for change, and alternative political leadership in Surkhet-1.
