UML to Launch Election Campaign from Kathmandu
Kathmandu, January 14: The Nepal Communist Party (UML) is set to begin its election campaign from Kathmandu.
According to UML Secretary and Bagmati Province In-charge Mahesh Basnet, the party’s Bagmati Province Committee will launch a special election campaign with a mass demonstration in Kathmandu on Magh 4.
Similarly, UML Secretary and Capital Special Committee In-charge Dr. Rajan Bhattarai informed that the announcement of the Capital Special Committee—formed in accordance with the party’s amended statute—and the election campaign will take place in Kathmandu on Magh 2.
The central committee meeting of the UML held on Poush 26 had decided to launch a nationwide campaign for the upcoming House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21.
