Dr. Nicolas Bhusal and Gen Z Group Protesters Arrested at Maitighar

Kathmandu – Dr. Nicolas Bhusal has been arrested. Police took him and other protesters into custody during a demonstration at Maitighar organized by the "Gen Z" group, led by Miraj Dhungana.

The Kathmandu administration had not given permission for the group to protest at Maitighar. According to police sources, Bhusal and other activists were arrested after they tried to hold the protest without official approval.

Earlier, at 10:00 AM, Miraj Dhungana’s team went to the District Administration Office, Kathmandu, to prepare for the event. However, the group split up after the administration refused to grant permission.

Assistant Chief District Officer Mukti Ram Rijal stated that police removed several protesters from the Maitighar Mandala area because they were demonstrating without a permit.
