CPN-UML to Submit Proportional Representation Closed List to Election Commission Today

Kathmandu — The Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist) has announced that it will submit its closed list under the proportional representation system to the Election Commission today.

A meeting of the party’s Secretariat held on Sunday at the party headquarters in Chyasal approved the closed list prepared by party chair KP Sharma Oli, incorporating suggestions from the meeting. The Secretariat also decided to formally submit the list to the Election Commission today.

According to the party, the closed list has been prepared based on recommendations received from various districts and provinces across the country.
