CPN-UML leader Mahesh Basnet has made a public post on social media stating that the Youth Association has been assigned three major responsibilities under the instruction of the party leadership.
According to his Facebook post, the three responsibilities given to the Youth Association are as follows:
Investigation of Gen Z Movement: "Collecting the names and details of everyone who instigated the Gen Z movement and made it violent, who are destroying the country by becoming foreign agents through NGOs/INGOs, and who are gaining financial benefits from foreigners."
Collection of Evidence of Violence: Gathering facts and evidence against everyone who committed arson, destruction, and vandalism of government property, individual property, and police posts on the 24th (likely referring to Bhadra 24, as per the context), and initiating action against them.
Formation of Neighborhood Security Groups: Forming Digital Force / Neighborhood Security Groups in every neighborhood across the country.
