CPN (UML) Central Committee Meeting to be Held Today

Kathmandu: A meeting of the office bearers, including the Central Committee of the CPN (UML), is scheduled to be held today. The meeting is set to take place at Karki Banquet at 1:00 PM on Friday.

This is the first meeting of the newly elected Central Committee following the recently concluded 11th General Convention of the UML. Today's meeting will discuss the party's upcoming programs and the formation of the Politburo and Standing Committee.

All office bearers and central members, including KP Sharma Oli—who was elected party chairman for the third time—took their oaths of office on Thursday. The 11th General Convention has elected a 301-member Central Committee for the UML.
