Controversial Remarks by Candidate Chaudhary in Sunsari-3 Lead to Tension at Event Venue
Biratnagar. Tension erupted at an event venue due to controversial remarks made by Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Ashok Chaudhary from Sunsari-3.
During a program organized by Itahari Jaycees with candidates from Sunsari-2 and 3, Chaudhary stated that those who do not vote for the "bell" (the party's election symbol) are anti-nationalists.
After he issued this warning to voters, police had to provide security to escort Chaudhary out of the venue to protect him from an angry crowd.
