Nepali Congress Leader Claims Party is Unified and Youth-Focused
Lekhnath (Kaski), February 1 — Shukraraj Sharma, President of the Nepali Congress Gandaki Province, has stated that following the special convention, there are no longer any factions within the Nepali Congress and that the party's responsibility has shifted to the shoulders of the youth.
While inaugurating the contact office of the election campaign committee at Pokhara-8 Simalchaur for Kaski Constituency No. 2 today, he emphasized that since there are no more factions in the Nepali Congress, everyone must work together to ensure the victory of their candidates.
Mentioning that the Nepali Congress has always been involved in the campaign for good governance, prosperity, and controlling inflation, he said the party would move forward by addressing the demands of the youth. He remarked, "The Nepali Congress is an open book; only within the Congress is there an environment where any person can freely conduct all their activities."
Madhav Prasad Bastola, the candidate from Kaski Constituency No. 2 on behalf of the Congress, stated that the Nepali Congress would move forward by incorporating the demands of Gen Z and noted that the party leadership has also been entrusted to the youth. Keshar Nirdoshi, President of Nepali Congress Kaski Constituency No. 2, claimed that the Nepali people would trust the transformed Congress.
