Congress Policy Prohibits Insulting Opposing Candidates During Election Campaigning
The Nepali Congress has formulated a policy to refrain from insulting candidates of other parties during the election campaign for the House of Representatives election scheduled for March 5.
The "Election Mobilization Directive-2026," passed during a virtual meeting of the Central Working Committee on Sunday morning, states that no insults shall be used during the campaign.
"The Nepali Congress adopts a policy of making healthy comments about its rival parties and their candidates, using thematic arguments when criticism is necessary, but refraining from insults," the directive states.
