Nepali Congress Central Executive Committee Meeting Today

Kathmandu: The Nepali Congress is holding a meeting of its Central Executive Committee today. According to the party’s Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel, the meeting will take place at 11:00 AM at the party’s central office in Sanepa.

Chief Secretary Paudel stated that the meeting will discuss candidate selection and electoral coordination with other political parties. 

Discussions at the top level are ongoing with parties including the CPN-UML and the Maoist Centre regarding seat-sharing arrangements for the elections.

For the National Assembly elections as well, the Nepali Congress has extended a hand of cooperation to other political forces in order to ensure representation and establish a strong basis for winning the election.
