Nepali Congress Calls Central Disciplinary Committee Meeting
The Nepali Congress has called a meeting of its Central Disciplinary Committee for Baisakh 2. The meeting is scheduled to take place on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the party's central office, B.P. Smriti Bhawan, in B.P. Nagar, Lalitpur. Dinesh Thapa Magar, the committee's secretary, issued a statement on Monday informing about the scheduled time and venue.
It is reported that the meeting will primarily focus on complaints regarding internal sabotage during the House of Representatives elections and matters concerning the violation of the party's internal discipline.
In particular, there is a possibility of serious discussions among leaders regarding leader Purna Bahadur Khadka, who is alleged to have engaged in activities in the capacity of acting president even after the Election Commission had provided official recognition.
