First Meeting Following the Election of Gagan Thapa as President

The newly elected Nepali Congress Central Working Committee, under the leadership of Gagan Thapa, is scheduled to hold its first meeting at the party office in Sanepa, Lalitpur, this Friday. 

Following the party's second special convention held at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, from Poush 27–30, this will be the first time the elected committee meets at its own headquarters.

The first meeting of the newly elected Central Working Committee took place on Magh 1 at Myasema in Kupondole. The second meeting was held on Magh 3  at Arpan Banquet in New Baneshwor, after the Election Commission granted the party official recognition on Magh 2.
