Clash Between UML and RSP Cadres in Baitadi: Two Injured
Dhangadhi — Two CPN (UML) cadres were injured following a clash with Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) supporters in Baitadi. According to the police, the confrontation occurred at Lek Tol in Dilasaini Rural Municipality during a door-to-door election campaigning program.
Police Inspector Suraj Singh, spokesperson for the District Police Office Baitadi, identified the injured individuals as Janak Dhami, a district member of the UML-aligned Youth Federation, and Madhav Dhami, both residents of Dilasaini-7.
Inspector Singh stated that Janak sustained injuries to his head and forehead, while Madhav suffered injuries to his back and right leg. Both are currently receiving treatment at Gokuleshwar Hospital in Darchula. Police have reportedly taken five RSP cadres into custody following the incident.
