Clarification Process Dropped for Purna Bahadur Khadka
The Central Discipline Committee of the Nepali Congress is set to suspend the clarification process against former Acting President Purna Bahadur Khadka.
Following the Supreme Court's decision regarding the legitimacy of the Special General Convention, the committee determined that the circumstances have changed and is preparing to withdraw the clarification request during a meeting scheduled for 3:00 PM on Monday.
Although Khadka was previously issued a seven-day clarification notice on charges of misusing the party's letterhead and his official position, the leadership now believes the move has lost its relevance in light of the court's order.
In this context, President Gagan Thapa and Khadka have already held discussions, while Khadka had previously commented that the committee's initial decision was meaningless.
