2,964 Personnel to be Mobilized for Elections in Chitwan

Chitwan, February 1. A total of 2,964 personnel will be mobilized in the district for the upcoming House of Representatives election. According to the District Election Office, details of the staff to be deployed have already been requested.

Office Chief Bhimsen Karki informed that the names of the personnel to be assigned to the election are currently being received based on the requested details. These staff members will be deployed across 494 polling stations in the district. Six personnel will be mobilized at each polling station.

According to him, three volunteers will also be mobilized at each polling station, appointed by the polling officer. Additionally, there will be temporary polling stations at two locations in the district. Three personnel and two volunteers will be deployed at each temporary polling station.

The staff will be stationed across 162 polling locations and 494 polling stations in the district. According to Karki, 33,740 new voters and 34 polling stations have been added for this year's House of Representatives election compared to the 2079 House of Representatives election. There are 442,082 voters across the three constituencies of the district. Among them, 217,314 are men, 224,766 are women, and two are third-gender individuals.
