Details of Candidacy Registrations to Be Released in the Evening: Election Commission

Kathmandu: The Election Commission has stated that candidacy registrations for the House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21 are underway across the country with enthusiasm.

Speaking to Nepal News Bank, Narayan Prasad Bhattarai, spokesperson for the Election Commission, said that the official number of candidacy registrations will only be released in the evening. According to him, the Commission has not yet formally determined the total number of registrations.

“The Commission has not officially set the number yet,” said spokesperson Bhattarai. “The complete number of candidacy registrations will be published only in the evening.” According to the Election Commission, various political parties and independent candidates across the country are registering their candidacies.
