RSP and Kathmandu Mayor Balen Shah Approve ‘Broad Unity’ Agreement
Kathmandu – The ‘broad unity’ agreement between the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah has been approved by the party’s Central Committee.
On Sunday, a special meeting of the RSP Central Committee, chaired by party president Ravi Lamichhane, held detailed discussions on the agreement and decided to officially endorse this historic accord.
The Central Committee expressed its belief that this agreement, reflecting courage, sacrifice, and hope for the nation, will make a significant contribution toward ending corruption, malpractice, and misgovernance in the country, while promoting good governance, development, democracy, and social justice.
The meeting also reaffirmed its commitment to the respectful and full implementation of the broad unity agreement.
