Bridgewater School Successfully Concludes 'Robotics and Coding Workshop'
Kathmandu : The "Robotics and Coding Workshop-2082" was successfully concluded today at Bridgewater School in Sinamangal, Kathmandu.
The school stated that the workshop, which included students from grades 3 to 9, aimed to develop the students' curiosity towards technology, creativity, and practical skills.
During the workshop, students displayed various robotic projects that they had prepared using their own efforts and skills. The robots created by the students in this program demonstrated the ability to operate various functions automatically, complete simple tasks, and solve problems using engineering principles.
Rakesh Shah, the Administrative Head of the school, mentioned that "Interesting Robotics Games" were also organized at the school, where students had the opportunity to learn technical knowledge competitively while having fun.
He said, "Such workshops not only impart practical knowledge of technology to the students but also develop their creativity, problem-solving skills, and a spirit of collaboration. The current era is one of technology and innovation, so it is essential for us to familiarize students with technical education from childhood."
Similarly, the school's Principal, Narayan Das, stated that coding and robotics have become the current educational needs in the modern education system. He said, "Robotics and coding are necessary now. The skills students learn from such activities will help them become competitive on a global level in the future. We will continue to sustain such programs."
The event also saw a significant participation of students, teachers, parents, and members of the school management committee. Participants expressed confidence that the knowledge gained from the workshop would inspire students to advance in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
The school administration sincerely thanked all the students, teachers, trainers, parents, and the organizing team for their cooperation in making the workshop a success.
Bridgewater School has planned to run educational programs such as Artificial Intelligence, Drone Technology, and Innovation Competitions in the coming days, believing that such initiatives will make a long-term contribution to the students' creative thinking and technical abilities.
