National Assembly Passes Condolence Motion for Late MP Baldev Bohara
Kathmandu: The first meeting of the 19th session of the National Assembly has unanimously passed a condolence motion for the recently deceased Nepali Congress lawmaker Baldev Bohara. The first meeting, held on Sunday, passed the motion and observed a moment of silence in his honor.
During the session, Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal read out the letter from the President summoning the session. President Ramchandra Paudel had called the National Assembly session for today, January 18, at 11:00 AM, in accordance with Article 93, Clause (1) of the Constitution of Nepal, following the recommendation of the Council of Ministers made on January 12.
The 18th session of the National Assembly had concluded on September 16. Furthermore, the next meeting has been scheduled for Friday, January 23, 2026, at 1:15 PM.
