RPP Leader Gyanendra Shahi Urges Government to Take Decisive Steps for Bipin Joshi’s Immediate Release

Kathmandu — RPP leader Gyanendra Shahi has strongly appealed to the Nepalese government to secure the immediate release of Nepali citizen Bipin Joshi, who went missing amid the Israel–Hamas conflict.

Citing the traditional bond between brothers and sisters during Janaipurnima and Tihar, Shahi highlighted the pain and dedication of Joshi’s sister, Pushpa, as a true symbol of sibling love and protection. “Pushpa’s tears and unwavering determination touch the hearts of every Nepali,” he said.

Shahi tagged the Foreign Minister Arju Rana Deuba in his Facebook post, urging them to collaborate with Qatar, UAE, and Iran and initiate talks with Hamas for Joshi’s release.

He emphasized, “The conflict is between Hamas and Israel, not Nepal. Bipin Joshi is a Nepali citizen, and his immediate release must be our highest priority. Any delay would be unacceptable.”

Joshi’s family has repeatedly urged the government to act swiftly for his safe return.
