Biometric Enrollment of Zen Z Injured at Trauma Center
Kathmandu — Injured youths from the GenZ movement have provided their biometric details from hospital beds to obtain voter ID cards for the upcoming elections.
According to the Election Commission, since the injured individuals were unable to return to their respective districts, a mobile team was sent to the Trauma Center to collect their biometric information on-site.
Finance Minister Rameshwar Khanal also visited the hospital during the biometric process. He stated that special arrangements had been made to ensure citizens’ voting rights.
The injured youths expressed gratitude to the Commission, saying they were happy to be able to exercise their democratic rights despite their physical condition.
