Bhim Rawal Slips Up While Speaking in Pokhara, Claims CPN (UML) Will Win a Majority
Dr. Bhim Rawal was once a key figure when he was in the CPN (UML). However, when he sided with Madhav Nepal, KP Oli ended Rawal's political career within the UML. But the UML is his old home, and Rawal hasn't forgotten it even now.
Recently, while addressing a unity message assembly of the Nepali Communist Party (NCP) held in Pokhara, Kaski, leader Rawal's tongue slipped, and he claimed that the CPN (UML) would secure a majority.
While speaking, Rawal, forgetting that he is a leader of the Nepali Communist Party (NCP), asserted that no one could stop the UML from winning a majority.
Leader Bhim Rawal, who had a long political career in the CPN (UML) and recently joined a new party, made the mistake during his speech.
This video is from Pokhara, Kaski, where he mistakenly uttered the name of his old party, the 'CPN (UML)', instead of his current party, and claimed that the UML itself would achieve a majority.
Speaking at the assembly held at Manav Adhikar Chowk in Pokhara, Rawal said, "I am fully confident that no one will be able to stop or block the majority of the CPN (UML), the journey of the CPN (UML), in the upcoming election."
As soon as he said this, the participants in the assembly applauded. However, he immediately realized his mistake and corrected himself.
He corrected himself at once, saying, "No one will be able to stop or block the Nepali Communist Party." After being expelled from the UML, he remained inactive for a long time, only joining the newly formed 'Nepali Communist Party' on November 12 (Kartik 26).
Prior to this, he expressed happiness at being present in Chipledhunga, Pokhara, after many years, and stated that he saw a massive public gathering in Pokhara, just like in Dhangadhi and Lamahi.
He also claimed that his party would firmly lead the nation towards building a prosperous Nepal.
