Bharatraj Dhakal Pledges 'Prosperous Nepal, Advanced Syangja' in Election Campaign
Syangja. Bharatraj Dhakal, the House of Representatives candidate from the Nepali Congress in Syangja Constituency No. 1, has expressed his commitment to building a "Prosperous Nepal, Advanced Syangja" while protecting nationalism, democracy, and socialism. He has also intensified his election campaign.
Coming from a successful business background, Dhakal is entering the electoral field for the first time. He is conducting his campaign by presenting his commitments to voters with experience, management skills, and a clear vision for development.
Dhakal stated that his primary agenda is focused on agriculture and agri-enterprise. He shared plans including a system where farmers can set the prices for their own produce, modern technology, irrigation, seeds, marketing, and insurance systems.
He also aims to establish agriculture-based industries through cooperation between the cooperative and private sectors, and to develop Syangja as a hub for coffee and fruits by commercially developing orange and coffee farming.
Similarly, based on his professional experience, he aims to organize the cycle from production to market. His main agenda also includes guaranteeing employment for everyone through a "One House, One Job" policy for employment and youth empowerment.
To create such employment, he mentioned establishing employment information centers at the local level, providing permanent jobs in agriculture, tourism, industry, and the service sector, conducting skill development training, and collaborating with the private sector.
He also plans to provide subsidized loans, grants, and tax exemptions for startups, and to run a campaign for "Industry in the Village, Employment in the Village."
He expressed a clear commitment to creating opportunities within the country rather than having youth migrate abroad. He has also put forward plans to utilize the natural and cultural potential of Syangja.
These include ensuring easy access to areas with tourism potential, developing rural tourism, religious, and natural destinations, and linking tourism with local products, culture, and employment. He also vows to provide quality, skill-based, and digital education, as well as affordable, effective, and timely health services.
Having played leadership roles in business, cooperatives, and financial institutions, Dhakal believes in management capacity, clear vision, and implementation skills. "Politics is not just about speeches; it should be a working style that can deliver results," he says.
