Basanta Bhatta Aims to Win Rasuwa’s Trust Through Results
In the upcoming election, Basanta Bhatta, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate for the House of Representatives from Rasuwa district, has stated that he will win the trust of the people of Rasuwa through his working style.
Bhatta, who has entered the electoral race, is currently conducting door-to-door campaigns. He mentioned that there are clear signs of change in Rasuwa's political landscape this time and promised not to let the people's trust break.
"The people of Rasuwa are looking for change this time. I personally believe in results rather than speeches, and I will not let the lamp of hope of the Rasuwa people go out," candidate Bhatta said. "It's not about selling big dreams; change is possible through doable work."
Bhatta, who has been involved in social service for a long time, is competing against former parliamentarians Mohan Acharya of the Nepali Congress and Prem Tamang of the CPN-UML.
Bhatta has clarified his political vision, stating that he is moving forward firmly on issues such as the sustainable development of the district, employment for locals, ending corrupt practices, reviving the tourism sector, direct public participation in industry and agriculture, systematic management of the international border, and ensuring local ownership in hydropower projects.
In Rasuwa, where the Tamang community is in the majority, Bhatta shared that there is visible enthusiasm among the people as he tells them to vote for the "Bell" symbol during his door-to-door visits.
