Crowd Gathers as Balen Shah Files Candidacy in Jhapa-5

Jhapa. A crowd of well-wishers was seen as Balendra Shah (Balen), a senior leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, registered his candidacy from Jhapa constituency number 5. Balen, who was first in line, registered his nomination along with supporter Bheshraj Bhattarai and proposer Bhuminanda Baral.

Although it was stated that there would be no pomp and show during the registration of the candidacy, a significant crowd of Balen's supporters gathered in the Damak area. Even though there was an agreement on Monday that only 25 people would come for the nomination registration, well-wishers came to the election office spontaneously.

Former Prime Minister and UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli is also registering his candidacy in Jhapa-5.
