Balen Shah Busy Meeting Leaders and Cadres in Jhapa
Senior leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, Balendra Shah (Balen), who filed his candidacy from Jhapa constituency number 5, is busy meeting with leaders and party workers in Jhapa. Balen, the former mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, met with the former Deputy Speaker Indira Rana Magar, who is a candidate from RSP in Jhapa-2.
After registering his candidacy in Damak on Tuesday, Balen arrived in Birtamod in the evening and stayed there. He stayed at Nischal Basnet's house in Birtamod-1. They discussed contemporary election issues. An aide mentioned that Balen's team came to Birtamod to support candidate Rana Magar.
It is reported that Balen has intensified meetings with party leaders, workers, well-wishers, and supporters to create an election atmosphere in the district. After finishing his meetings in Birtamod, Balen headed toward his own constituency, Damak.
This time, Jhapa-5 is gaining attention across the country. The election atmosphere has heated up after Balen chose Jhapa-5 to compete against UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, who has been a continuous candidate from that constituency since 2048 B.S.
