Minister Ghising Orders Acceleration of Asian Highway Upgrade, Citing Economic Importance

Following an on-site inspection of the approximately 95-kilometer road section from Jhapa-Kankarbhitta to Sunsari-Labipur, which is being upgraded to Asian Highway standards, Minister of Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation, Kulman Ghising, has issued clear instructions to concerned parties to immediately increase manpower and accelerate the work, taking advantage of the favorable weather.

After reviewing the progress of the road section, he stated via social media that this road is not just infrastructure but the "backbone connected to Nepal's economy and future." 

He pledged that the construction would be moved forward rapidly, maintaining high quality and accountability, urging all stakeholders to avoid any delays in the construction process.
