Ashika Tamang Clarifies She Has Not Withdrawn Candidacy

Kathmandu: Ashika Tamang, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate for Dhading-1, has clarified that she has not withdrawn her candidacy. 

Expressing objection to news reports in various media outlets claiming she had pulled out of the race, Tamang's secretariat stated that those reports are misleading.

Speaking with Nepal News Bank, Tamang's secretariat refuted the news of her withdrawal, stating, "The candidacy has not been withdrawn. She is currently in Dhading. 

The news broadcast regarding a PR (Permanent Residency) dispute is also baseless and misleading." The secretariat further urged the media and the general public not to follow such unverified and incorrect news.
