Home Minister Inspects Dry Port Construction Site in Kanchanpur
MAHENDRANAGAR ,DECEMBER 1: Home Minister Omprakash Aryal inspected the construction site of the Dodhara Chandani Dry Port in Kanchanpur this afternoon.
Home Minister Aryal, who is in the region for the Far-Western Province-level security seminar to be held in Dhangadhi on Tuesday, along with his team, monitored the dry port construction initiated in Dodhara Chandani Municipality, according to Parshuram Pokharel, the Home Minister's Private Secretary.
"While here for the provincial security seminar, a border inspection was conducted along with the monitoring of the dry port construction site," he said, adding, "The Armed Police Force team was also present during the Home Minister's inspection."
Also accompanying Home Minister Aryal was the Head of the Armed Police Force organization, Inspector General Raju Aryal.
The construction of the dry port in Dodhara
Chandani, which is being built with the cooperation of the Government of India, has already begun.
The Indian side has contracted the project with the aim of completing the construction within three years, and the construction company has started work.
The construction company has also initiated the process of importing construction equipment from India for the project.
