President to Administer Oath to Senior MP Arjun Narsingh KC Today

Kathmandu, March 25: President Ramchandra Paudel is scheduled to administer the oath of office and secrecy to Arjun Narsingh KC, the senior-most member elected to the House of Representatives, today.

The swearing-in ceremony is set for 11:15 AM this morning at the President's Office, Shital Niwas. KC is the senior-most member among those elected in the House of Representatives elections held on March 5.

A total of 165 members were elected through the first-past-the-post system and 110 through the proportional representation system in the House of Representatives election. Nepali Congress MP KC was elected through the proportional representation system. The senior-most member, KC, is scheduled to administer the oath of office and secrecy to the newly elected members of the House of Representatives this Thursday, March 26.
