Appeal from Mukunda Shyam Giri to Rastriya Prajatantra Party Members

Kathmandu – Senior leader of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Mukunda Shyam Giri, has issued a public appeal expressing deep dissatisfaction over recent internal developments within the party. He stated that he has been actively serving the party’s interests since its very inception on Jestha 15, 2047 BS (1990 AD), dedicating all his productive years to the party’s growth and well-being.

Recalling his past responsibilities, Giri noted that he has served as the party’s Central Vice President, a member of the Executive Committee, and a member of the Central Steering Committee. Prior to that, he also served the people as Pradhan Panch and Mayor of Birendranagar Municipality, Surkhet, in 2043 BS.

Referring to a recent appeal made to seek a lawful solution to party-related issues, Giri expressed his disappointment over what he described as the leadership’s unjust and unconstitutional decision against him. “This move has not only disregarded my decades-long contribution, sacrifice, and dedication to the party but also attempted to undermine my political career,” he stated.

However, Giri emphasized that he is not discouraged. “As someone who has been with the party since its foundation, this injustice has only strengthened my resolve and responsibility towards RPP,” he affirmed.

Pledging his continued support for the party’s consolidation and mission, Giri said he will stand with members across the nation. He also urged vigilance so that other fellow members do not face similar injustices. “Now, the choice lies with everyone – whether to stand by the unjust leadership or not,” he concluded.

He signed off with a spirited message:

“Long live RPP! Long live nationalism!”
