Cyber Bureau Defamation Case Involving Amisha Parajuli Takes New Turn
Gen Z politician Amisha Parajuli had accused the Nepal Police Cyber Bureau of using abusive and obscene language against her when she went to seek justice.
During an interaction program, she claimed that the police had threatened her to control her lips and body, after which the Bureau stated that its serious attention had been drawn to the incident.
However, the incident took a new turn when the police called Amisha's mother for questioning as part of the investigation.
The mother clarified that no employee of the Bureau had spoken such unacceptable words, admitted that her daughter's false statement had damaged the reputation of the police organization, and submitted a written apology to the office on behalf of her daughter.
