Alliance Candidates Sweep National Assembly Election Seats

Kathmandu — Elections for 18 vacant seats of the National Assembly member posts were held on Sunday. In the election, an alliance was formed between the Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, and the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal.

All candidates from the alliance were elected. The Nepali Congress secured 9 seats, CPN-UML won 8 seats, and the Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal obtained 1 seat.

After voting was completed in each province, the Election Commission made public the vote results of all candidates.
