Actor Deepak Raj Giri Shares Thoughts on Nepali Politics in Facebook Post
Kathmandu — Popular actor and comedian Deepak Raj Giri recently shared his views on Nepali politics through a Facebook post. He highlighted that the people have supported change at various key moments in the country’s history, including the rise of the Nepali Congress in 2007 BS, the political movements led by Congress and UML in 2046 BS, and the Maoists during the 2062/63 BS People’s Movement.
Giri noted that despite the people backing new political alternatives repeatedly, the country has not achieved the pace or stability expected. According to him, political changes have not yet fully delivered the development, stability, and good governance that citizens aspire to see.
Expressing hope in the recent political alliance, Giri wished that the nation would not need to search for yet another alternative soon. He also extended his best wishes to all stakeholders, hoping that this unification would steer the country in the right direction.
