"Accepted Post for Democracy's Institutional Development": Madhesh CM Yadav
Janakpurdham, November 11: The newly appointed Chief Minister of Madhesh Province, Saroj Kumar Yadav, stated that he accepted the post of Chief Minister for the institutional development of democracy.
Holding a press conference in Janakpurdham today, he informed that he became the Chief Minister according to the current Constitution and clarified that he accepted the position to resolve the problems of Madhesh.
He stated that as the Nepal Communist Party (UML) is the largest political party in the Provincial Assembly, he became the Chief Minister pursuant to Sub-section (3) of Article 168 of the Constitution.
He emphasized that the cooperation of all political parties is necessary to solve the problems of Madhesh. Chief Minister Yadav requested the concerned parties to abandon destructive activities and urged the media personnel to disseminate objective news.
