55-Year-Old Man Missing from Anamnagar for Five Days, Still Untraced

Kathmandu, Asar 22 – Jagat Bahadur Kunwar, a 55-year-old man originally from Safebagar Municipality–3, Achham district, and currently residing in Anamnagar, Kathmandu Metropolitan City–29, has been missing for the past five days. His whereabouts remain unknown despite ongoing search efforts.
According to his nephew Dev Bahadur Kunwar, Jagat Bahadur left his rented room in Anamnagar for a morning walk on Asar 17 and has not returned since. "It has already been five days since my uncle went missing. We filed a missing person report at the District Police Office, Kathmandu on Asar 18, but we have not received any updates yet," he said.
Kunwar, who was engaged in the teaching profession, suddenly going missing has left his family deeply worried. His relative and treasurer of Kundali Sewa Samaj, Dharma Raj Khadka, who currently lives in Hadigaun, Kathmandu, shared that the family is under immense stress. "He disappeared during a morning walk, and the atmosphere at home is very tense. We’ve been searching everywhere, but haven’t found any trace of him," he said.
Kunwar is survived by his wife and three sons: Yuvaraj, Anil, and Dhiraj.
Superintendent of Police Apilraj Bohora, spokesperson for the Kathmandu District Police, confirmed that a missing person complaint was registered on Asar 18. "We have received the report and mobilized multiple police units for the search. Efforts are ongoing," he said.
Despite these efforts, Kunwar remains missing, and the family continues to plead for public support and any information that may lead to his whereabouts.
