Youth Group Demands Authority for Provincial Governments to Print Licenses
Kathmandu. A letter has been submitted to the Department of Transport Management demanding that Provincial Governments be granted the authority to print driving licenses.
The letter was submitted to the department by an organization named 'Yuwa Aawaj' (Youth Voice) on Thursday.
The organization stated that the anti-corruption protest held on Bhadra 23 was not merely an opposition to corruption, but rather a combined expression of the dissatisfaction, anger, and agitation that citizens have been facing due to the procrastination, negligence, and administrative complexity observed in government work.
Granting the provincial governments the power to print licenses is expected to streamline service delivery and resolve a long-standing issue faced by the public.
