Minister Shrestha Conducts On-Site Inspection of Dharan Substation

Kathmandu: Honorable Minister for Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation, Biraj Bhakta Shrestha, conducted an on-site inspection of the Dharan Substation on Saturday.

Electricity service is currently being distributed from the Dharan Substation to Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City, Barahachhetra, and Udaipur.

To make Dharan's electricity supply more reliable and robust, work has been initiated to install new transformers and upgrade the substation.

During the inspection, Minister Shrestha instructed the relevant authorities to immediately install the transformers that have already arrived, expedite the remaining work, and ensure a regular, high-quality electricity supply for the residents of Dharan.

It is expected that this will resolve Dharan's long-term electricity issues and ensure a reliable power supply.
