Teej Special Song “Chhadke Kapal Kina Koreko” Released
Kathmandu — The music video of the Teej special song “Chhadke Kapal Kin Koreko” by the multi-talented singer and composer Motiraj Khanal from Arghakhanchi has been released.
Teej, a great festival for Nepali women, is a celebration connected with devotion, faith, festivity, and togetherness. As the festival approaches, artists often present stories of social realities, women’s consciousness, love, separation, hope, and struggle through music. In this context, the song was released on Monday at a grand ceremony held at Reporters Club Nepal in the capital. The event was organized by Sansa Films, chaired by the organization’s president Suraj Khanal, with the chief guest being UML parliamentarian Bijula Rayamajhi.
The song, written, composed, and sung by Motiraj Khanal himself, features powerful vocals by popular singer Radhika Hamal. In addition, Dipesh Bisht, Krishna Khatri, Rashmi Bhujel, and Kalpana Malla provided supporting vocals. The music arrangement was done by Ramesh Century, and recording and mixing were completed by Krishna Bajural at The Music Era Recording Studio.
The music video, directed by Suraj Khanal and choreographed by Shivji Kshetri, showcases impressive performances by well-known models Krishna Khatri and Rina Thapa. Supporting artists Geeta Khanal, Asmita Khanal, and Kristina Shah also make captivating appearances.
The program was attended by distinguished personalities including former General Manager of National Dance Theatre Lakshman Rayamajhi, social worker Rishi Bhusal, and Dhanendra Basnet, among others. The event was hosted by Sabin Khadka.
Through songs released one after another on the occasion of Teej, artists aim to convey positive messages to society.
