Teaser of the Film ‘Janai Haraeko Manche: Sambandhaka Dhagaharu’ Released, Showcasing Dreams and Struggles of Vijay Baral

Kathmandu – The teaser of the film Janai Haraeko Manche: Sambandhaka Dhagaharu (The Man Who Lost His Sacred Thread: Threads of Relationships) has been released. The teaser highlights themes of dreams, struggle, love, and betrayal.

Beginning with a wedding scene, the teaser centers around the main character Vijay Baral’s dream of going to Korea. The teaser revolves around the disputes with his father over his plans to go abroad and the betrayal he faces from a fellow villager after reaching Kathmandu.

It shows how Vijay, who comes to Kathmandu to pursue his dream of going to Korea, gets stuck in confusion and loses direction along with his dreams.

The teaser sheds light on the harsh reality of pursuing a destination without even basic knowledge. It depicts how a character, who sets out with a dream to relieve his family’s suffering, ends up trapped in a vicious cycle of hardship.

Amidst this, love and its fleeting happiness can also be seen in the teaser. Alongside Vijay, actors like Keki Adhikari, Miruna Magar, Sushank Mainali, and Bhola Raj Sapkota appear in the teaser.

The film is directed by Himal Neupane and is scheduled to release on Bhadra 6 (August 22, 2025).

Actor Manish Raut from Prem Geet 3 has worked as the associate director of the film.

With a strong lineup, the film features performances by Vijay, Keki, Miruna, Bhola Raj, Sushank, Rear Rai, Bhawana Khapangi Magar, Rupesh Lama, and Suman Thapa.

Produced under the banner of Paperclip, the producers are Kamal Neupane and Bimal Neupane. Executive producers include Narayan Timilsina, Chudamani Siwakoti, RK Manandhar, CR Basnet, Philip DC, and James Maharjan.

The story, screenplay, and dialogues have been written by Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal. The music is composed by Thaneshwor Gautam, Arjun Pokharel, SD Yogi, and Prashant Siwakoti.

The film features cinematography by Krishna Pariyar and DOP by Naveen Gurung. Dinesh Bahadur Raut is the chief assistant director, and assistant directors include Tarkaraj Neupane, Rabindra Nepal, Monika Thapa, and Akash KC. The production controller is Laxman Raj Paudel.

Other key crew members include Sahil Khan (teaser-trailer), Suprim Parajuli (color), Sunil Kshetri (choreography), and Chulthe Kaji (action direction). The distribution rights are handled by Govinda Shahi of Kafiya Films.

This is Vijay Baral’s first lead role in a feature film this year after the all-time blockbuster Purnabahadurko Sarangi. He recently won the National Film Award for Best Actor for the same film.

In 2081 BS (2024-2025), Vijay and Keki, who delivered blockbuster hits, are now appearing together as leads in Janai Haraeko Manche: Sambandhaka Dhagaharu.

Additionally, after winning Best Actor and Best Editing at the National Film Awards ceremony held at the President’s Residence in Maharajgunj on Monday, the film’s team honored Vijay Baral and Bharat Regmi for their contributions.
