Government Decides to Shut Down Unregistered Social Media Platforms from today

The Ministry of Communication and Information Technology has decided to shut down social media platforms that are not registered with the ministry.
Unregistered platforms will be gradually deactivated, while those completing the registration process will be reactivated immediately after compliance.
The decision was made in a meeting held under the leadership of Minister for Communication and Information Technology, Prithvi Subba Gurung.
