Uttam and Niruta wrapped up the shooting of 'Sarathi' in one month

The shooting schedule in Gurja Khani for the movie 'Sarathi', starring actor Uttam Pradhan and actress Niruta Singh in the lead roles, has been completed. The entire shooting in Gurja Khani was finished within a month, having started on Baishak 15.

According to director Kumar Gajurel, only one day of shooting remains for this movie in Kathmandu. He stated that they will wrap that up in a few days and move on to post-production. Director Gajurel says that the release date will be announced once the movie's post-production is completed. The production team appeared excited as they returned to Kathmandu after completing the shoot in a remote yet naturally beautiful location in Myagdi.

The main attraction of the movie is the reunion of senior artists Uttam Pradhan and Niruta Singh after nearly two decades. The production team claims that the film industry and audiences are looking at the comeback of these two actors, who are sharing the screen again after a long time, with special interest.

Based on a social storyline, the movie captures Gurja's original culture, traditional lifestyle, houses made of stone and mud, the life of the Chhantyal and Dalit communities, and the breathtaking views of Gurja-Churen Mountain on screen. According to the movie's director Kumar Gajurel, the film will highlight the tourism potential of the Gurja region at both national and international levels.

Along with Uttam and Niruta, the movie features performances by artists including Mukunda Shrestha, Rajendra KC, Giri Bishwakarma, Gayatri Joshi, Madan Thapa, Samrant Thapa, Milan Khadka, Rashmi Gurung, Kalpana Thapa, Asha Bishwakarma, Santosh Dahal, Biplav Khadka, Sagar Kandel, and Dhiren Moktan.

The movie, a collaboration between Kimbhe Production and Dheeraj Infinity Films, is produced by Tara Thapa 'Kimbhe' and Sauryal Thapa. Dhiraj Tamang and Bek Bahadur Bishwakarma are the co-producers, Pradip Rayamajhi and Radip Shrestha are the executive producers, and Ameer KC is the line producer. The cinematography for this movie was done by Sankalpa Bhujel.
