Returnee Federation Nepal Responds to Youths demise and Damages During Gen-Z Movement
Kathmandu – Returnee Federation Nepal expressed heartfelt condolences to the talented youths who lost their lives during the Gen-Z movement on September 9 and extended deep sympathy to their bereaved families. The federation also expressed concern over the destruction of executive, judiciary, and national assets, as well as damage to private and business properties.
The federation stated that although the Gen-Z movement was for anti-corruption, good governance, and stability, it was infiltrated by reactionary forces and reached a destructive stage. They criticized unnatural activities by the Nepal Army and demanded that dialogues with the Gen-Z movement take place at the President’s Office, calling for the annulment of any agreements made at military headquarters.
Highlighting the impact on Nepali youth seeking foreign employment, the federation urged the immediate rescue of stranded citizens abroad and the provision of free medical care for those falling ill during transit. They also requested the operation of a help desk for youth affected by the vandalism of foreign employment offices.
Finally, the federation emphasized that the upcoming interim government must be formed according to the constitution and warned of strong opposition if there is any external interference or reactionary influence.
