Rabindra Mishra Postpones Poetry Collection Launch, Calls for National Unity Through ‘Naveen Samjhadhari’
Kathmandu – Politician and writer Rabindra Mishra has announced that the launch of his poetry collection, originally scheduled for Friday, has been postponed in light of the nation’s current crisis.
In a Facebook post, Mishra expressed sorrow over the situation and recalled how he had repeatedly urged for a “peaceful transition through NaveenSamjhadhari” over the past three years. He said that instead of being taken seriously, he was mocked, ridiculed, and labeled regressive.
Mishra revealed that he had personally met with top leaders KP Sharma Oli, Sher Bahadur Deuba, and Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ to warn them that Nepal was heading into an unforeseen crisis. He urged them not to be trapped by party narratives or partisan media, but his concerns went unheard.
Reiterating his appeal, Mishra said only a new understanding and structural review—where everyone is given dignified space—can serve the nation. He urged leaders and citizens alike to rise above ideological divisions and keep the dreams and future of the Gen Z generation at the center. “Otherwise, we will again fall from the frying pan into the fire. May we never have to see such tragedy again,” he wrote.
