Producer Kiran Nepali Makes Directorial Debut with Nepali Film “Mahadasha”
Kathmandu — A new Nepali film titled “Mahadasha” has been announced.
At a program held on Wednesday at Raja Lounge, Bishwajyoti Mall, Jamal, the film’s official title was revealed along with the release of its pre-teaser.
Produced under the banner of Lekali Entertainment, the pre-teaser of “Mahadasha” has been released through Budha Subba’s official YouTube channel. The film marks the directorial debut of Kiran Nepali, who has previously been involved as a producer in dozens of films.
The pre-teaser features lead actors Pramod Agrahari, Prema Lamgade, and Hakim Gurung in traditional attire. According to the production team, details about other cast members will be announced later.
Written by Manish Gautam, the film is backed by investors Rajendra K. Shah, Shyam Magar, and Amala Devi Rai, with Suraj Acharya serving as the executive producer. The makers shared that the film will explore themes of culture, tradition, spirituality, mysterious social phenomena, and the influence of planetary positions and karma in human life.
Anish Adhikari and Samar Chaulagain are the production managers. The release date will be announced only after the completion of filming.
