Singer Tejawati Joshi & Tekendra Nepali Release 'Nepalki Chhori'

Kathmandu. The music video for the song "Nepalki Chhori," featuring the vocals of singer Tejawati Joshi, who has been practicing classical music for nearly two decades, has been released. The song features lyrics by Kumar Mishra and music by Tekendra Nepali, and showcases the performance of beautiful model Gita Dhungana. 

Gita, appearing with her hair braided in two plaits, shines brilliantly in the video. The song incorporates themes of patriotism, blessings for elders, and love for the young, and the lyricist has worked to infuse positive thinking into the video.

Through the song, the lyricist and singer emphasize the Nepali way of a proud daughter of Nepal who never bows her head. Produced by Yogendra Rajkarnikar, arranged by Rhytham Kandel, and mixed and mastered by Sajan Shah, the music video was directed by GB Agri. The video, choreographed by Thamman Tadi, was filmed by Utsav Dahal and edited by Silan Lamsal.

The video has been released to the market through OSR Digital. Singer Tejawati and composer Tekendra had previously collaborated on four songs, including "Chumbak" and "Hajar Juni." Singer Joshi has also previously released songs in both Nepali and Newari languages.
