Mild Weather Shift: Fog in Plains, Snow Risk in High Mountains
Kathmandu - The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has reported that there is currently a partial influence of western winds in the country, with haze persisting in some areas of the Terai. While partial cloud cover is observed in the high hilly and mountain regions of Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces, the weather remains clear in the rest of the country.
This afternoon, fog is expected in some parts of the Terai, while the mountain regions will generally remain cloudy. The hilly areas will see partial clouds, and the rest of the country will have clear weather. There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in some locations of the hilly and mountain regions of Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces, as well as in one or two places in other hilly and mountain areas.
Similarly, tonight, haze will persist in some parts of the Terai. Clouds will cover Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, along with other mountain regions. Madhesh Province and the remaining hilly areas will experience partial cloud cover, while the weather elsewhere will be clear.
