INI Cinemas Starts Operations in Bhairahawa with State-of-the-Art Multiplex

The state-of-the-art and well-equipped INI Cinemas has come into operation at Bhat-Bhateni Superstore located in Siddharthanagar, Rupandehi. The multiplex, established on the fifth floor of the Bhat-Bhateni Superstore, officially opened last Friday.

As tourism, hotels, trade, and the service sector have been expanding in recent years in Bhairahawa, which serves as the gateway to Buddha's birthplace, Lumbini, INI Cinemas has been added as a modern entertainment infrastructure. It is believed that this will provide local audiences with the convenience of watching quality cinema.

Deepak Kunwar, a patron of this theater and a businessman, stated that since Bhairahawa is a rapidly developing commercial and tourism hub, the investment was made after sensing the need for a modern cinema hall. He believes that alongside the entertainment sector, this will contribute to promoting the local economy and employment.

Aavash Kunwar, the director of the company, mentioned that the new multiplex was operated in Bhairahawa with the objective of contributing to the development of the modern entertainment sector by utilizing the experience gained abroad in Nepal. He noted that they intend to convey a message through this theater that opportunities can be created for youth within the country itself.

According to the theater operators, the multiplex at Bhat-Bhateni features two state-of-the-art auditoriums. Each hall has a capacity of 198 seats, allowing a total of 396 viewers to watch cinema at the same time. It is stated that the theaters are equipped with Belgium-manufactured Barco laser projectors, a 16-channel DTS-X immersive sound system, and modern seating facilities.

According to Surendra Thapa, an operator of INI Cinemas, this technology will provide audiences with an international-standard cinema experience. Prioritizing safety arrangements, the facility includes fire-resistant materials, emergency exit routes, and other necessary safety infrastructure.

Established in 2019, INI Cinemas currently operates multiplexes in various locations, including Kathmandu, Butwal, Simara, and Nawalpur. With the operation of the new branch in Bhairahawa, the company's total screen count has reached 13.

The management of INI Cinemas stated that they expect positive support and cooperation from audiences in Bhairahawa, Tilottama, Butwal, and surrounding areas. According to the company, arrangements have been made so that movie tickets can also be purchased through the website and digital payment methods.

The new multiplex that has come into operation in Bhairahawa is expected to make the entertainment and tourism sectors of Lumbini Province more vibrant.
