Barsha Siwakoti Signed for ‘Jahajaima’, Set to Release on Falgun 1
Kathmandu — Actress Barsha Siwakoti has been signed for the upcoming film Jahajaima, directed by Krisha Chaulagai. The production team officially signed her on Saturday.
After signing the agreement, Siwakoti expressed her happiness, stating that she agreed to work on the film because she liked the story and the team, and she was excited to work with such a great team.
Previously, actors Kedar Ghimire ‘Magne Buda’, Saugat Malla, Karma Shakya, and Japanese actress Rujhel Ichimiya had already been signed for the film. According to the production team, the selection of the remaining cast members is in its final phase.
The film’s story is written by Abhimanyu Nirabi, and cinematography (DOP) will be handled by Purushottam Pradhan. The film will be produced by Ujjwal Guragain under the banner of UNA Production.
The movie, produced in collaboration with KP Films, will begin filming in Japan from the upcoming month of Bhadra. The film will be shot in Nepal, Japan, and the Philippines, with pre-production currently progressing rapidly.
Moreover, the production team has already announced the film’s release date two months prior to the start of filming. In collaboration with R.R. Films, the movie is scheduled to be released nationwide from Falgun 1. Distribution will be handled by Rohit Kattel and Ratna Shrestha of R.R. Films.
